Search was made for his body, but it was not recovered. Kwöh on board was cut down by the swords of the soldiers and police, who carried him prisoner to the City.
When he was brought up for examination, he was found to be wounded; orders were given for his surgical treatment. By the perusal of a copy of his statement, you will be informed of all particulars.
Appended is a copy of the statement (of the prisoner).
